Woke up at 6, coffee, and was out the door before the sun was fully up. The plan was simple: out to the lake on the long road, back on the creek path. 62 km total.
The out leg
Wind was dead calm for the first 20 km, which doesn’t happen often. Passed the whole town before the bakery opened.

The flat (obviously)
Around km 41 the rear tire decided to introduce itself to the road. No spare tube, so it was a 90-second fix with the plug kit and a very annoyed face.

Back home
Made it back just as the kitchen timer on the pasta went off. Worth it.
